We are now looking for someone to successfully lead our HR organization and contribute to the future development of Sandvik Coromant - someone who is a senior leader possessing a down to earth manner, yet a change and result oriented executive with a truly global mindset. The location for this position is Sandviken, Sweden.
Key performance areas
In this role, you are an active member of Sandvik Coromant's Management team, as well as of the HR Management team within Sandvik Machining Solutions, sharing the strategic responsibility to develop and drive the business into the future. With the mission to develop an organization that is adapted for increased productivity and profitability, you are the sounding board to the President of Sandvik Coromant and support the business in a challenging environment where a strong culture and rapid changes walks hand in hand.

Your profile
You have a relevant degree for this position and a distinct track record from acting in an international business for at least ten years, which makes your well prepared for the challenging complexity of a large multicultural setting. You have worked with HR management in a customer oriented organization and a background from another management function outside HR is an advantage. As is good knowledge of Sandvik's business.
You are experienced in leading both in growth and in down turns and previous participation in a management team is prerequisite to succeed in this role. We expect you to have solid experience in organizational development as well as in change management and negotiations with unions and work councils, and you have also been exposed to best practice of cutting edge HR in earlier assignments. As we act on the global stage, your communication skills in English need to be excellent, both verbally and in writing.
