Its products are used for rock excavation within the mining and construction business for both surface and underground applications. The division is headquartered in Fagersta, Sweden and has production in five continents. The division employs more than 2000 people world wide.
As our present Vice President Human Resources has decided to leave the company, we are now looking for his successor.
Job description:
This interesting role covers the overall HR responsibility for the division's full global activities consisting of a number of product companies and customer centers around the world. Your mission is to further develop the Human Resources function to support the business needs and strategy in the division.
Your primary tasks will be to:
• Lead the Human Resources function to ensure that the overall principles and processes for managers on how to perform the leadership in Atlas Copco, are properly applied
• Support the development and implementation of the business strategy from a Human Resources perspective
• Guide, support and follow up in the areas of organizational development and management resourcing
• Secure that we have a solid process and tools for competence development and talent management
• Ensure that we attract and employ the right people in the right organizational structure
As a divisional Human Resources manager, you are a part of the division management team and report to the division President.
Education, knowledge and experience:
You have a university degree in the human resources area, and a track record of proven successful human resources work in an international environment. Besides Swedish you must have a good command of the English language - spoken and written.
Personality:
You are result oriented with a positive attitude, a self starter and pro active. You see what needs to be done and have a strong sense of ownership, taking responsibility and leading until a successful conclusion. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You have good awareness and understanding of multi-cultural issues on a global basis.
