Group Trucks Sales and Marketing EMEA, Controlling
Vice President Financial Process Control
As Director Financial Process Control you will have global responsibility for the performance and development of Financial Process Controlling tasks for the Group Trucks Sales and Marketing EMEA scope.
You will report to the Senior Vice President and Chief Controller of Group Trucks Sales and Marketing EMEA, Volvo Group.
Mission
• The Director Financial Process Control leads the Region?s finance process operations.
The Director Financial Process Control will amongst others plan, execute and follow-up all strategies and activities within the finance process control team and is in this capacity also responsible for the development of the direct reports. In addition, the Director Financial Process Control should work with the other controllers and corporate finance staff to ascertain financial process control and appropriate challenge/support to the business line managers to drive performance.
A prerequisite for success is to develop and maintain an effective cooperation with a number of stakeholders across EMEA region but also across the Volvo Group at large.
Main activities and responsibilities
• Drive and challenge direct reports and develop the motivation, knowledge and teamwork in the entire organization.
• Implement Volvo Group and Group Trucks Sales and Marketing EMEA policies, strategies and procedures and ensure legal compliance at all times. Owner of EMEA Commercial Financial Process harmonization and development
• Day to day Cost controlling over all central EMEA activities
• Primary EMEA Financial Control liaison to FBS, and other Group Truck Divisions such as GTO, GTT, etc. [SCoS, R&D]
• Primary EMEA contact for IFC Central project team
• Actively contribute to - and participate in - all relevant decision fora and later on in a timely manner implement decisions made.
• Attract, motivate, develop and retain talent and secure necessary resources to carry out the activities at hand. Specific emphasis should be put on talent mobility across Group Trucks Sales and Marketing EMEA and the Group.
• Champion the culture aimed at giving a strong image of the unit and being in line with Volvo Group values and principles (The Volvo Way, Code of Conduct, etc).
Critical competencies for the position
With a real talent for cultural integration, and business analyses the Director Financial Process Control holds a university degree or MBA in relevant financial field and is able to demonstrate successful international and multi-cultural business experience within global finance operations. As Director Financial Process Control you need to have as a minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial area.
Demonstrating a high and solid level in each of the Volvo Group Leadership competencies for the leading business level, the Director Financial Process Control will be an inspiring and inclusive leader as well as an active team worker.
