Infrastructure and Onsite Services
Infrastructure & Onsite Services (IOS) ensures that best in class infrastructure services are developed, supported and operated. The Function also offers best in class onsite services for factories and warehouses. Furthermore, IOS secures the global provision and support of all needed infrastructure services for the Volvo Group, enabling the digital transformation journey we are undertaking.
A vast majority of the infrastructure services are produced by partners where IOS drives the strategic direction. We optimize the setup by securing the right sourcing mix, delivery models and partnerships. The top priority is to drive IT quality and IT security throughout the entire Volvo Group.
Vice PresidentEnd User and Core Services
The VP of End-User and Core services reports to the Senior Vice President of Infrastructure & Onsite Services.
The mission of End User and Core Services, part of Infrastructure and Onsite Services (IOS), is to Develop and Govern the Services within End User and Network/Core while ensuring their delivery and usage. By that, we contribute to Volvo Group competitiveness by delivering standardized and fit for purpose infrastructure services, maintaining a balance between time to market, cost and quality.
Wanted profile
For this position, we are looking for a person with strong and inspiring leadership skills. You have proven experience as a leader, good understanding and knowledge of the End-user and Network competency areas to lead those in your team and across the organization. End-user and Network are for obvious reasons very transparent to the entire group and thereby stakeholder management outside of the team is equally important to success.
We are using the ITIL framework as a common vocabulary driving functional governance across the organization and a DevSecOps vocabulary in our operating model for building new services. You have a personal drive in leading teams and colleagues both in your line and functionally outside of your own line. You are motivated for challenging activities in this area. You are able to set direction and objectives for your unit, and understand how these contribute to the Volvo Group vision and strategy.
You have the ability to manage diversity, work in cross functional teams and build trust in the organization. You actively collaborate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment .You are comfortable with driving change and also have courage to make decisions. You also need to have a structured approach towards tackling challenges and handling various issues.

Identity & Access management services
Workplace client services for Office and Industrial workers and functions
Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) Services
Output Services (print etc.)
Support Services
The scope of Core Network and Security Service includes
Firewalls and Security Zones
Proxy/Internet Filtering
Remote Access
IP Address and DNS domain name Management services
All types of network equipment and supplier agreements associated
The services are globally used in both Office and Industrial parts of Volvo Group. You have responsibility for managing a global team, driving its performance, financial results and long term development. You have a key role in managing and optimizing the service developments and deliveries to Volvo Group in your scope. You operate in a global context, having a number of interfaces with Volvo stakeholders, to the main infrastructure partner and also to the strategic and tactical partners.
You will be leading a well functioning high performing team with many activties on their plate. You will be gradually taking us into the next maturity level of deliveries.
Required competencies and experience
We are looking for you who is an experienced leader with relevant and experience in the End-user and Network field. We also expect you to have a relevant University/Master 's Degree or relevant work experience. You should have experience of governance: directing, planning and monitoring of IT services. With additional experience of IT Outsourcings and managed services you are well equipped to meet the demands of the role.
As a person, you should have a clear service and business mindset with excellent communication & presentation skills. Your leadership style is defined by striving for results by empowering your team and coaching them to perform their best. You have a natural ability to motivate and to prioritize to an ever changing IT-environment.
