This new role, VP Digital, is a unique opportunity for an experienced expert within digitalization. Due to the significant growth in digital adoption, emerging technology and changing needs, this role will lead the digitalization strategy, promoting the vision, encouraging cooperation between business areas within Skanska and seek new digital business opportunities. You will act as an internal vision leader for new digitalization trends and develop foresight on digital trends and how they may affect the business. Apart from this you will constantly build up your internal and external relationships.

As VP Digital you will lead the digital function within the Operational Efficiency Unit and create a strong link between data and business operations whilst maintaining a balance between business and technology. You will also lead and manage digital strategy projects worldwide and identify new digital business opportunities for Skanska. You will collaborate closely with the different business units and lead new pilot projects as well as studies and investigations projects while building a company-wide engagement in digitalization.
Frequent travelling forms a part of this role.
Who you are!
To succeed in this role we are expecting you to have a good knowledge of digital business operations as well as a good understanding of international project based organisations, particularly those of a decentralised nature. You have a relevant academic degree. 10+ years of working experience, mainly in digital business, and experienced in driving change through experience and knowledge sharing.
You are someone with proven social and communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to present to varied and small or large audiences. You should have a strong interest in innovative technologies and desire to work on pioneering engagements. Capable of navigating in dynamic and complex organization environments. You should have a strong passion for growing deep understanding of business drivers and to be a creative, independent and pro-active self-starter who enjoys sharing ideas and appreciates the opportunity to discuss the best course of action, but doesn't need to simply ask for permission before acting. You should also have strong presentation, influencing and collaboration skills. Other important qualities include patience, flexibility, resilience and being comfortable with travel.
