www.autoliv.com As Senior Director/Vice President, Corporate Legal, working at the corporate HQ in Stockholm, Sweden, you will work on a broad spectrum of corporate matters with a clear focus on managing the board process and the US disclosure process. You will work closely with the Group General Counsel as well as other members of executive management, including the CEO/Chairman. You will also work with other members of the head office staff and support them in managing executive compensation, treasury, tax and other matters.
The successful candidate will be a U.S. trained corporate lawyer with at least 7-10 years of qualified and relevant US securities experience, with Swedish or European securities experience a strong additional factor. Ability to independently manage (i) the ongoing US securities reporting requirements and (ii) the board processes of a US publicly listed company is essential. Note-Autoliv is a "Domestic Issuer" and not a "Foreign Private Issuer".
Fluent English skills are mandatory and Swedish language skills are a strong advantage. If not already local to Sweden/Stockholm, someone showing an interest in a long term commitment to the region is a distinct plus - through prior experience, family or otherwise.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Director/Vice President, Corporate, AHO will manage various matters, including but not limited to:
• US Securities law.
• Board and Corporate Governance Matters.
Working closely with other head office functions (HR, Finance, Treasury, etc.) to provide support as needed.
• A Juris Doctorate or equivalent
• At least 7-10 years of legal experience
• Managing the board process of a US public listed company
• Managing the securities and disclosure for a publicly listed US company
• Experience with US and (ideally) Swedish securities regulations
• Professional fluency in English and preferably also in Swedish
• As Autoliv operates globally, other language skills matching its operations is an advantage
• Willingness and ability to do some travel
• Unquestionable ethics and integrity
• Proven ability to work successfully on cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Committed team player
• Willingness to step in and help wherever needed
• Experience in automotive industry not a requirement but a distinct plus
