The role
We have just embarked on probably the most interesting journey of our business ever and now we are looking for a passionate, creative, empowering business leader to take our Bus and Coach Business in Europe to the future. Volvo Buses has decided to change our business model in Europe, and we will apply the same successful model as we have on several other markets. This means that Volvo Buses will focus its production and development on chassis and together with external bodybuilders and partners offer customers in Europe a complete range of city- and intercity solutions as well as coaches for the premium segment.
This is a time of change for the European organization. We are looking for a leader who have successfully led through change and understand what it takes to make it happen.
Together with a highly dedicated and professional team you will develop and implement the business strategy needed to accelerate our journey towards the new tomorrow.
Drive the transformation from product sales to solutions sales, maximizing customer success and market opportunities for Volvo.
Enable strong relationships and closer cooperation with our customers, body builders, market companies, partners and our dealer and service network.
Risk manage the scope of the business
Be a member of Business Unit Chassis leadership team. As a member of the leadership team you will be involved in strategy, business, people and culture development and other initiatives
You

You have a master's degree or equivalent as the basis for your career. You are fluent in English. International business experience is a merit. The successful candidate will have shown a winning attitude and great persona in combination with a strong track record and references.
The position reports to the Senior Vice President of Business Unit Chassis and is a member of the Business Unit Chassis management team
Location & Timeline
The position is based in Gothenburg. Travel is expected but we highly value work/life balance.
