For Business Area Europe APMEA, we are looking for a Vice President of Brand and Consumer Insights to build long term strategies to maximize our brand portfolio, set the brand strategy and bring the voice and perspective of the consumer in strategic decision making across brand and product portfolio.
The Vice President of Brand & Consumer Insights will play an important role in the Europe APMEA Marketing Leadership Team.
Job Summary:
The Vice President of Brand and Consumer Insights will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of brand portfolio, marketing strategy and consumer insight strategy to elevate business results. You will lead the brand strategy work of both the Electrolux brand and the AEG Brand, setting expectations for brand experience including positioning and promise and target audience. In the role you will collaborate with stakeholders within sales, product line, design and other functions to develop our brands to be distinct, salient and meaningful.
You till take ownership and lead our consumer insights organization to make sure our marketing decisions and investments are based on solid data. As VP Brand & Consumer Insights you will also be responsible for our PR & Partnership strategy, setting it both short and long term.
As VP Brand & Consumer Insights you need to be a strong member of the Marketing Leadership team and influence the marketing mandate for the Business Area and Group where relevant.
In this position you report to Group CMO & Head of Sustainability BA Europe APMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
Set brand portfolio strategy: optimize mid- and long-term portfolio against business objectives including geographical and investment requirements.
Co-create brand Marketing Strategy, a long- term plan for delivering against business objectives in priority markets.
Defining the top consideration targets for long term plans and collaborative creation of the investment strategy needed to get there.
Set the Consumer Insights strategy.
Lead the consumer segmentation implementation across the functions.
Provide necessary insight and recommendations for strategic brand and product vision.
Represent the consumer in innovation and commercial triangles.
Set the PR & Partnership strategy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree within relevant field.
Significant experience within marketing and brand, within diverse domains of the function.
Extensive experience from leading large marketing organizations.
Proven excellence in leadership and communication.
Proven track record of stakeholder management and ability to work cross-functionally in a global/international matrix environment.
Experience from consumer goods industry.
Change management experience and experience from developing brands.
Ability to work agile and across different time zones.
