About the Infrastructure Team
The infrastructure team at EQT is responsible for leading high-value projects across various sectors and geographies. We collaborate across departments and geographies, offering a dynamic, inclusive, and fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As a Vice President, you'll play a pivotal role in structuring and managing investment opportunities, providing leadership to Associates, and driving due diligence processes. You will also engage strategically with portfolio companies to enhance their performance and manage diverse project workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive research on companies, industries, and markets to support investment decisions.
Provide mentorship and guidance to Associates, particularly in areas such as financial modeling, analysis, and deal structuring.
Lead the preparation of materials for fundraising, financial analysis, valuation models, and presentations related to potential investments.
Actively participate in transaction processes, including project management and execution of deals.
Contribute to portfolio company development and exit strategies, collaborating with teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Attend and contribute to board meetings and discussions, while assisting portfolio companies with specific projects to drive their success.
Develop and propose ideas for potential value creation within portfolio companies, as well as source and assess new investment opportunities.
Lead and manage multiple workstreams across various stakeholders, ensuring adherence to timelines and delivery of high-quality results.
Build strategic relationships with portfolio companies to foster collaboration and support value creation initiatives.
Cultivate strong relationships across EQT's internal and external networks.
Actively contribute to the growth and development of the broader EQT Group, including its long-term strategic activities.
About You
The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader with a passion for strategic thinking and collaboration.
You should be capable of managing complex projects while fostering a culture of inclusion and innovation.
Desired Skills and Experience:
5-7 years of experience in a consultancy firm, an Investment Bank or a Private Equity Firm
Excellent commercial and analytical skills (e.g., excellent understanding of market drivers, ability to analyze businesses from an industrial, strategic and financial point of view)
Excellent financial modeling skills.
Relevant transaction experience
Excellent project management abilities and an ability to prioritize effectively.
Strong relationship-building skills
Exceptional communication, with the ability to present to large audience
