So, what are you going to do today?
Alfa Laval is looking for a senior Engineering & Supply (E&S) manager for Business Unit High Speed Separators. The Engineering & Supply organization is an integrated part of Alfa Laval's global Food & Water Division and is a close collaboration partner to the global sales organization. The E&S organization is supplying to key markets like Biopharma, Brewery, Beverages, Dairy, Protein, Edible oil and Agro industry.
The Engineering & Supply organization is responsible for quotation and bid support, the complete project execution, start-up and customer hand-over for all High speed separator systems globally within Alfa Laval. The organization consists of 75+ skilled and competent employees with teams located in 3 main locations, being Tumba, Pune and Shanghai. We are looking for an experienced senior manager who can lead and develop the global organization as well as support business growth in close cooperation with our global sales organization.

About the job
Your main responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for the project and order execution within the BU HSS
• Develop and lead the global organization with a focus on delivering a superior customer experience
• Responsible for seamless communication between the project organization, the customers and the internal stakeholders.
• Develop and improve the project execution culture and structure
• The development and maintenance of systems and automation
• Ensure excellence in projects handling in accordance with our defined project structure
• Drive cost competiveness improvements of both the Engineered-to-order systems and the configured-to-order modules.
• Secure an efficient and competitive global supply chain set-up and drive continuous improvement activities
• Inspire and lead the team
As Vice President E&S BU HSS you will lead the E&S Management Team consisting of Engineering, Customer Project Management, sourcing and quality assurance. You will also be a member of the BU HSS Management team and work closely with your peers in the management team to determine the strategy and the long-term development of the global High Speed separation business.
What you know
• A university degree in engineering
• Several years of experience from project and line management functions from international organizations
• Strong business acumen with focus on customer satisfaction, competitive and efficient solutions as well as best in class project management, execution and sourcing
• High degree of global perspective in every aspect of decision making
• Strong people skills to engage and inspire as well as focus on development of talent and coaching
• Good in alignment and execution in a complex matrix organization
• Agile and energetic to a degree that it inspires your team
• Skilled in building and maintaining close relations with both internal and external stake holders
• You are driven by seeking influence and challenging solutions, and seeing the benefit of team work and working in a process-oriented manner
• Strong leader and manager capable of obtaining results through delegation, goal setting and follow-up
• Experience from engineering and manufacturing of products and systems to the biopharma and food industry
• Ability to act, lead and show the way when urgency is of the essence
• Full professional English proficiency is a must.
