Roles and Responsibilities
As Vice President - Computation Systems Infrastructure, you will be responsible for driving the development and deployment of hardware and platform software components for critical computational nodes in the vehicle. You will guide a team of technology teams spread across Gothenburg and Bangalore locations.

Your key responsibilities will be:
Design and implement the overall mission, values, and strategic goals for computational systems infrastructure in Vehicle Technology.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement a robust electronics and electrical architecture for the future.
Guide a global team of engineers and managers
Represent the function in decision making forums
Proactively drive performance and manage risks
Secure compliance on Cybersecurity and Functional safety aspects of the vehicle architecture
You will be part of the Vehicle Technology Leadership Team and report to the Senior Vice President - Vehicle Technology
How to succeed
You are a passionate, professional and progressive leader with eyes on the horizon and feet on the ground. You bring several years of leadership experience in the tomotive industry and have a high level of expertise in the handling automotive hardware and software development. You enjoy building and motivating high performing teams and actively participating in strategy and execution. You create commitment around shared visions and objectives and act as a role model for your team as we develop the future vehicle architecture.
You have a relevant university degree or similar and an excellent proficiency in English. Networking in a global multi-culture organization across all the Volvo Group brands comes naturally. You have the courage to question and take evaluated risks when necessary and you find energy in working in a changing environment as you contribute to driving the global shift in the transport and infrastructure industry.
The location for the position is Gothenburg, Sweden. If you are based in another location, we strongly encourage you to apply anyway. Relocation support can be provided if needed.
