YOU ARE A DRIVING FORCE.
Driving the development of a multiple platform VOD-service is a challenge that requires both vision and technological aptitude. Viaplay has taken on that challenge and as Front End Developer you are expected to claim full ownership and responsibility of the interface development. Working closely with art directors, interaction designers and our development team you will be making Viaplay the best product in the market. It's important to fully comprehend the scope of SEO and interaction, and you are likely to have comprehensive experience from larger scale website projects with depth and complexity. You will develop functionality based on Javascript with jQuery, and be comfortable with using CSS. From psd's you are able to create validated HTML that can be integrated into the application, producing light weighted and snappy solutions. Being a driving force and a doer, you should be prepared (however not required) to assume mentorship and a central function in what is a team effort. In a team that is certain to grow dramatically.
YOU KNOW WHAT, HOW, WHERE AND WHO.
A multitalent with social skills is what we are looking for. We believe that you have between 3-5 years of industry experience and an expertise in HTML/CSS coding - which is fundamental in our dynamic and agile working environment, where every individual can grow and influence in a non-predetermined process. Your command of jQuery/Ajax, Javascript, and your knowledge of SEO and integration of web analytics tools, conforms to industry standards and practices. We are organised in a team structure using SCRUM-methodology and rotation philosophy - a construction where individuals regularly alternate between teams to create a fruitful and collective process. Your efficient verbal and communicative skills, combined with a flexible and open-minded attitude are important to fit in and get the job done.
