hela Sverige Solution Development EMEA (SD EMEA) department is responsible for developing and maintaining our customer solutions. SD EMEA is also hosting VGTs Sourcing & Partner Management group with global responsibility regarding external resources, bought services as well as supplier and partner relations.
Your group will be responsible to secure and manage all needed resources (non-VGT employees) to all VGT functions and departments, provided both internally from other parts of Volvo IT and externally from preferred/selected suppliers, and also to secure and manage bought services to our customer solutions from a global perspective. An important part of the responsibility is also to secure new partners regarding bought services to our customer solutions from a global perspective and in line with VGTs strategy. You as manager will be part of the SD EMEA Management Team and report to the head of SD EMEA.
Main responsibilities Group Manager Sourcing & Partner Management:
• Responsible to secure and manage all needed resources (non-VGT employees) from Volvo IT and/or externally from preferred/selected suppliers.
• Responsible to secure and manage bought services to our customer solutions.
• Responsible to secure new partners regarding bought services to our customer solutions.
• Responsible to establish and maintain good relations with stakeholders as well as internal and external suppliers/partners.
• Single point of contact/Owner of all resource requests (non-VGT employee).
• Ensure to follow the existing process when requesting resources (non-VGT employees) defined by Volvo IT internal consultancy organizations.
• Ensure to follow the existing purchasing process for consultancy services defined by Global IT Purchasing organization (at Volvo IT).
• Responsible for the financial result of all external resources collected in a set of consultant cost centers.
• Responsible for the financial result of the group.
• Responsible for KPI:s and other performance targets in own area
• Personnel responsibility (recruitments, salary setting, competence development, PBP)
• Member of SD EMEA Management Team

The Group Manager for Sourcing & Partner Management needs to have the ability to work under demanding and changing conditions in a global environment. As person you are innovative with a strong supplier/partner and customer focus and a business oriented attitude. You enjoy teamwork, contribute with team spirit and you like taking responsibility.
This position requires:
• A university degree in engineering or computer science or similar.
• Experience from software engineering and agile development.
• Experience from telematics together with projects and needed competence.
• Documented leadership competence and previous experience as line and functional manager.
• Documented experience from working with Global IT Purchasing (GITP) organization and Volvo IT preferred suppliers.
• Documented knowledge regarding Volvo IT preferred suppliers service offers.
• Experience from working with supplier/partner negotiations.
• Ability to establish and maintain good relations with stakeholders as well as internal and external suppliers/partners.
• Experience from Volvo IT resource requesting process.
