Volvo Group Telematics (VGT) provides telematics services to the Volvo Group, and to external customers in the Automotive Car OEM segment through the WirelessCar brand.
We enable & accelerate customer-oriented off-board telematics service development & delivery. Our solutions exist in Volvo Group products and in other products in the automotive industry in Europe, Asia, US and South America.
E2E Architecture
E2E Architecture department is responsible for the architectural strategy at VGT and the VGT Enterprise Architecture Framework. We consist of a team of senior architects and act as a governance/support function within VGT, identifying, appointing and communicating architecture best practices while ensuring alignment/cooperation within Volvo Group and external stakeholders. We drive technical roadmaps, take parts in Volvo Group internal/external fora, monitor and investigate new technological/architectural trends and opportunities related to the connected services area.
We participating in the VGT Security Organization and actively support establishment of IT & Information security in the complete chain of connected services enablers from telematics and infotainment units in vehicles, mobile networks and wireless communication, infrastructure, telematics platform services, end user portals, apps and business to business integrations.
We are now looking for EA Domain Architect with Security as focus area to strengthen our team.

Role mission & context
We are looking for an experienced/senior Application Software Architect with information & IT security knowledge to End2end Architecture team that wants to be working with complex system solutions in relation to many stakeholders within the automotive and telematics/connected services area.
You will team up with the VGT development and operation organization to enable delivery of secure solutions the Connected Services context. This is a wide area so you will also be collaborating with vehicle engineering and different business areas to enable IT & Information security from an End to End perspective for Connected Services.

Required competencies
• A university degree in software engineering or computer science or similar.
• Experience from architecture, software engineering and agile development in a Java and Cloud services based environment.
• Good knowledge around best practices from a design and development perspective regarding information security including threat modeling and risk assessment.
• Architectural security knowledge in the network layer, application layer and information layer.
• Experience from working in a global & cross functional environment
• Have the capacity to execute against set targets and a "can do" attitude
• Good customer relationship and networking capabilities
• Fluent in English and Swedish - both written and spoken
