We're looking for an experienced Visual Effects Artist to make wonderful and engaging effects and simulations to complement and enhance our amazing environments and characters.
You'll have the opportunity to create a variety of particle effects and systems; from ambient environmental VFX to character special abilities and UI VFX. You would be making particle systems, shaders, texture simulation, implementing the VFX and making sure it runs smoothly in the game.
Noid is a young game studio full of expectations. We're on our way to create something exceptional and would love to see if you're a good fit!
Skills & Requirements
We're looking for someone who has worked in the game industry and has experience on creating great looking real-time particle effects in Unity, but also is well acquainted with performance optimisations.
We expect you to have good knowledge of shader creation, limitations, and an understanding of VFX / PostFX integration and performance impacts. You have knowledge of other disciplines in relation to 3D art including modeling, lighting, and rendering.
In this position, you'll work closely with Art, Design and Engineering to support and resolve artistic challenges.

Noid is part of the global company Spin Master and we are sitting in the same office as our sister studio Toca Boca and Nørdlight in Luma/Stockholm. You'll need to be located in Sweden as we are unable to support relocation. We offer a hybrid workplace - you can join some of our colleagues in the office a few days a week and you can also work from home. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
