Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
Your main role will be to plan vessels loading in most optimal way considering cost, effectiveness, quality and utilization. You will also act as a Travel Cargo Superintendent (TCSI) part of the time. This means that you will travel with dedicated vessels and be responsible for loading operations in the ports.
Responsibilities:
• Keep vessels informed and involved in operation, including special requirements.
• Loading operation in the ports whilst travelling.
• Prepare cargo preplan, based on bookings and incoming final plan.
• Ensure high quality standards are adhered to during all aspects of operations.
• Ensure cost efficient operations.
• Distribute preplan to ports, vessels and next regions.
• Ensure that the various ports fulfill their planned cargo disposition.
• Report outcome of operation and general follow up on voyages.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
Requirements:
• Maritime education as deck officer.
• Several years work experience as Deck officer and minimum two years as Chief Officer required.
• PCTC / RO-RO experience is a plus.
• Experience in cargo securing with regard to vessel movements and securing material requirements.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability and experience in making quick decisions based on available information.
• Ability to manage vendors during operation.
• Team player
• Be able to communicate with many different nationalities.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• One Scandinavian language required.
