This new facility is located near the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius, and it is modeled after Sweden's Silviahemmet dementia and palliative person-centered care approach with its emphasis on symtom control, equality and dignity for the patient, as well as strong teamwork and communications with families. Your skills and experience as a Swedish elderly care professional will be greatly appreciated and valued in this new care environment just 1-hour flight away from Sweden. Your responsibilities range from care planning to development activities to the creation of well-functioning management systems (ledningssystem).
This recruitment is a cooperation between Swedish Care International AB and Addere Care Lithuania. You will be hired directly by Addere Care Lithuania.
The Role:
• Care Operations Manager of Addere Care
• Adopt, implement, and supervise effective nursing care practices based on Swedish experience
• Create a compassionate environment which offers space and time for patients' emotional, and spiritual support
• Train, coach, and lead the team based on good examples, structured follow-up, and performance results
• Promote patient independence by setting his/her personal care plans
• Educate patient and family members about medications, self-care etc.
• Manage patient expectations by implementing effective team strategies
• Deliver high-quality nursing experience for every Addere Care patient
• Become a role-model for nursing excellence.

Addere Care is looking for a Care Operations Manager (Verksamhetschef) who is passionate about daily operations as well as being part of the process of developing something new and exciting for Lithuania's older people population. You are proud to be a nurse, managing a wide variety of patient, team and family interactions, and you are not afraid of getting involved to address problems and find solutions in fair and timely manners. You embody the spirit of communications and relationship-building, and are well aware that a strong team is critical for the well-being, safety and quality of life for the elderly.
Who are you:
• A nurse (Leg. sjuksköterska /sjuksköterskeprogrammet)
• Have at least 3 years of leadership or management experience in elderly care in Sweden
• Great Team Player - compassionate, supportive and helpful to others
• True Caregiver & Mentor - the one who is fulfilled by taking care of others
• Strong English-language communication skills
• Practical Leader who takes care of running daily meetings and trainings
• Problem-solver who can imagine, create and implement effective care practices
• Highly merited if you are Silviasjuksköterska, and/or trained in dementia care or knowledge about Silviahemmet care philosophy
• Cross-cultural sensitivity or willingness to take cross-cultural sensitivity course

• Representative - you are not only the new Care Operations Manager, you also represent Sweden's care philosophy abroad
