Within base station Radio I&V we are now searching for a person that will work with the verification strategy in a new established section. This new section is responsible for the radio performance and functional verification strategy for WCDMA, LTE and GSM Radio Base Stations. As a member of this unit, exciting challenges are waiting as you will shape the future of radio verification.
Job Description
Your main activity will be to, independently or in a team, work with the verification strategy for the radio performance part. The overall targets are to decrease the total verification time, get a more robust verification and to get a common verification strategy for the three standards, WCDMA, LTE and GSM. Environmental testing and product approval (EMC, safety radio approval) will also be a part of the strategy.
You will work in a multi site environment with a large network including system design, hardware design, test environmental design and verification at Radio, Node, and RAN.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who likes to work as part of a verification team and enjoys a flexible and dynamic environment where there are great opportunities to use your own initiative. Since you are a positive person with a big engagement, and have an open mindset, you will be successful in internal networking and in constantly gaining new knowledge.
Naturally, you have knowledge and experience of radio performance and requirements, as well as radio design and system work. Probably you also have good understanding of radio base stations. You should have a technical education at the university level or equivalent. Experience from test automatization is an advantage, as well as an interest in improving methods and processes, e.g. Six Sigma.
