What you will be a part of
Saab Kockums provides design, construction and in-service support for advanced naval systems such as surface combatants and submarines to the Swedish Armed Forces and other customers worldwide. Our product portfolio consist of the air-independent Stirling system, mine countermeasure systems and submarine rescue systems amongst other. Saab Kockums operate in Karlskrona, Malmö, Muskö, Järfälla and Singapore.

Product Performance is part of the Development and Research organization. Product Performance consists of Verification Managers, Requirement Managers and Engineering Management.
Our Verification Managers operate in beautiful Karlskrona, where our production facility is located. The job includes travel from time to time to our offices in Malmö and Muskö. International travels might also occur.
Your role
Your main tasks is to manage, plan, lead and follow up the verification of our products to ensure that the product meet requirements. It can be new submarines and surface ships of war, retrofits or modifications. The management of verification starts with participation in quotation planning and calculation. The Verification Manager then follows the project and is responsible for delivering a verified product to a satisfied customer. To your support you will have Project Management, System engineers and personnel with navy background.
The work is closely connected to the development of the requirements of capabilities, functions and different systems, but also to the production of the Product.
Your skills and experience
You have experience of verifying complex products in a structured way, perhaps from a heavy industry environment. You know how to collaborate with a high number of stakeholders in different areas within the company and you find it a positive trigger to handle a demanding customer. We aim to deliver high quality and safe products! Alternatively, you have experience from system development with an interest to broaden your competence, technically as well as from a management perspective. A navy background is also of interest for this position as well as problem solving skills and analytical ability.
