Your role
You will be a member of a growing team responsible for executing verification activities for our submarines and surface ships. You will be responsible for planning and executing verification activities to ensure that we fulfil our customer requirements. To achieve this you will work in close collaboration with requirement engineers, planners, test teams, and production personnel to ensure that test are performed on time with the correct personnel, and with a satisfactory result.
The verification leader is a part of the engineering organization but has close ties with production to ensure efficient team management. Your role will be to execute test procedures onboard in close collaboration with production personnel, test teams, and engineers. Work tasks vary from hands-on onboard test activities to database handling and customer and supplier interaction, in just one day!
Tasks will include:
* Develop and execute verification plans for the different phases of a project
* Plan and coordinate participation in onboard verification activities
* Organize and lead test teams in performing onboard verification activities
* Handle customer relations regarding verification activities

Your profile
To thrive in this role, you are a self-motivated person with great communication skills. You are used to efficiently collaborate with team members as well as other stakeholders. You are structured and have a confident mindset enabling you to adapt to circumstances. You also have a strong sense of responsibility to act on your own initiative to make things happen, as well as natural skills regarding people management, planning, and networking.
Required skills:
* Experience from leading positions
* A few years of experience working with complex projects
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
Desired skills:
* Naval officer or Specialist officer
* Bachelor of Science or similar
* Knowledge of submarines and surface ships and experience in naval or other ship building
* Knowledge in Doors requirement handling platform
What you will be a part of
You will collaborate with experienced engineers and professionals in an environment that fosters career development and personal growth. You will be part of System Safety & Requirement Management whose core business is system safety, fire safety, requirements, and verification as well as operational and functional analysis.
The team consists of engineers with various backgrounds that will support you in the daily operation within our projects. The team is primarily located in Malmö, but the verification leaders have their location in Karlskrona.
System Safety & requirement Management is part of the Business Area Kockums.
