If you're as passionate about humanity and innovation as we are then maybe we should meet. Elekta Instrument AB is recruiting a Verification Engineer with Electronics profile to our Control System department. This position is located at Elekta's head office in central Stockholm, Sweden and will report to the Manager Control System Verification & Test.
At Elekta we are proud to say that we live by our values:
• We work as one team: that means we're looking for a team player - and the team is 3,600 strong. Of course, you won't be interacting with all your colleagues, but you'll be able to carry the ball within your group.
• We do what we say: our customers need to trust you as much as they trust our solutions - there is no room for empty promises in cancer care.
• We keep thinking forward: Elekta's history and success has been built on people who turn today's challenges into tomorrow's solutions. We hope you're this type of person.
• The purpose of all the work we do at Elekta is to help clinicians improve patients' lives.
We are looking for a person who wants to work in a cross-functional team with agile product development where quality and safety is in focus. If you want to work with interesting and complex products in a global company, then this position is something for you.
What you'll do at Elekta
As a verification engineer your main task will be to verify and continuously test the electronics as part of our mechatronic systems. You will be involved in all phases of requirements based verification including requirements review, risk analysis review, test design, and test execution. You will also participate in testing components and sub-assemblies at design level to efficiently ensure product quality and to find defects early. Any simulators and test tools necessary for system verification will be developed and validated as an integrated part of the work. The role will require both system level understanding as well as more detailed knowledge in electronics to be able to isolate components under test. You will work in a cross-functional agile team that together with product owners and system architects specifies and develops the product.
What's in it for you?
You will have the possibility to work with highly skilled colleagues in an open and transparent working environment developing technically advanced products. Currently, we primarily develop Leksell Gamma Knife and parts of Elekta Unity. The organization is set up to lead the technology roadmap of positioning systems for our existing products as well as future innovations.
