What You'll Do at Elekta
You will be a part of a cross-functional agile team, developing advanced treatment delivery solutions for our future radiation therapy devices. The agile team will be part of an international program working according to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Your team will develop the software creating complete workflows for different users, including UI, in an algorithm intense environment.
As a verification engineer, you will be involved in all phases of the verification process covering planning, specification, execution, and reporting of all verification activities in product creation and maintenance. During development, your main focus will be to ensure testability and to provide early feedback on the developed subsystem.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Planning and leading the subsystem level verification in cooperation with the system test lead
Contributing in establishing test strategies
Reviewing subsystem requirements for testability
Defining and reviewing test cases
Documenting test results
Performing exploratory and regression testing
Identifying defects and report bugs with attention to details
Developing, validating, and maintaining test tools
Participating in the team efforts in driving engineering excellence and relentless improvement
Understanding and adhering to the quality system, and introducing improvements to its effectiveness
The Right Stuff
To be a suitable candidate for this position we think you have
A master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, or equivalent
Thorough experience in verification and test automation
Experience of working in a regulated industry
