We provide both consultants on site, and deliver complete assignments within product development together with Swedish and international partners. We are now looking to expand our team with more competent personnel.
We are currently looking for a Verification Engineer for our customer within the automotive industry in Gothenburg.
The mission of this role is Verification Engineer Dept. HW & Framework, in one or more of these areas: Diagnostics, Communication, Physical Systems Architecture and/or Power Management
Responsibilities:
Analyze test cases & specifications and plan for testing
Create scripts for automatic testing
Review test results
Testing in trucks, rigs & virtual environments

Competence & Skills Required:
• MSc in a technical area ? Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar
• Previous experience in software development and/or software testing
• Fluent in English
• Automotive experience
• Experience of agile teamwork
• Scripting knowledge & experience in automatic test strategies
• Good knowledge in testing with Vector CANoe, Simulink or similar.
• ISTQB certificate
• Truck or automotive experience
• Great communication skills & able to work as part of a team
• Respectful towards colleagues
• Problem solving mindset
• Interested in learning new techniques
• Drive change & continuously improve
• Can work independently - Selfmotivated
Diagnostics engineer:
• Experience with diagnostics services testing on system/component level
• Genuin knowledge of the equipment for Diagnostics Services concepts/DTC:s/routines/parameters/Software Download (SWDL) testing(CANoe, others etc).
• Knowledge of the different methods for monitoring/steering the system under testing and logging the data.
• Genuine knowledge of the SW testing techniques and process (Implementation and Verification cycle, so called V-cycle, etc).
Power Management / Physical Systems Architecture engineer:
• Experience with electrical measurements on system level (preferably in vehicle industry but not requirement).
• Genuine knowledge of voltage/current/resistance measuring methods.
• Genuine knowledge of the equipment for voltage/current/resistance measurements (multimeters, shunts, oscilloscopes etc).
• Knowledge of the different methods for monitoring/steering the system under measurement and logging the data.
• Genuine knowledge of the electrical features/phenomena (voltage drop, transients, grounding disturbances etc).
• Genuine knowledge of the SW testing techniques and processes (Implementation and Verification cycle, so called V-cycle, etc).
• Knowledge of power distribution and power management systems/concepts.
• Software knowledge
• CANalyzer, CANoe
• Knowledge about different Volvo engineering tools, SE-tool, KOLA, & similar.
Communication Engineer:
• Experience in measurements on protocol layer as well as previous work with oscilloscopes
• Genuine knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet standards or similar
• Knowledge of the different methods for monitoring/steering the system under testing and logging the data.
• The traceability is a key word for quality securing of our methods and results so both planning and reporting in different tools is requested
