About the role

As the Verification and Validation Lead, you will ensure the excellence of our heat pump product. Your primary responsibility is to oversee the comprehensive evaluation process, encompassing both Verification and Validation. This means ensuring that the product not only meets requirement specifications but also operates robustly under varying conditions, all while adhering to relevant industry standards.

Your expertise will be crucial in the meticulous testing of every aspect of the physical product, including hardware functionality and performance. As part of our laboratory team, you will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art testing facilities and measurement equipment. You will use your natural leadership abilities to develop the technical potential of the team around you.

This collaborative environment serves as the bedrock for ensuring the quality, performance, and compliance of our product, shaping the future of sustainable energy solutions.

What you will be doing

• Review and improve product requirement specifications with respect to testing.

• Develop test strategies and plans for product development projects.

• Set up infrastructure for good traceability and reporting.

• Lead the test activities in projects.

• Run tests in climate chambers.

• Shape ways of working, best practices, and test mythologies.

• Develop new test methods in collaboration with the laboratory team.

• Spread knowledge of test-driven development in the organization.

What you bring to the team

• Master's degree in physics, mechanics, energy, electronics, or similar.

• Extensive experience in testing hardware products.

We would also appreciate it if you have experience with or knowledge of some of the following:

• Knowledge of refrigeration technology and thermodynamics

• Experience in measurements

• Experience in both manual tests and test automation

Important Note on Location:

This role necessitates your physical presence at our lab facility in Markaryd. In the middle of 2024, our lab will be relocated to Helsingborg. This exciting transition will offer a fresh environment while continuing to uphold our commitment to innovation and excellence.
