hela Sverige As the Manufacturing Engineer you'll belong to a cross functional team where your main responsibility will be to answer all technical manufacturing questions related to our manufacturing park. Safety and quality; two of Veoneer's the key essences, both when it comes to our production and our employees. It is therefore also in your assignment to secure the quality in our manufacturing processes, including from an ergonomic and safe working environment perspective
Additionally, you'll be responsible to facilitate and develop new ways of working and work instructions. You'll also coordinate and implement process changes when changes of components or products has been done. This means that you actively will work with improvements and rationalizations on equipment, processes and work flow
We believe that you're a person who are seeking new and exciting challenges within manufacturing, electronics and change management. You already have a solid base and knowledge within machines and Lean Production as well as in ergonomics and working environments, but you're looking for new thrilling projects to sink your teeth in. So why not within the next generation in modern electronic manufacturing!
We presume that you thrive in environments of constant learning and discovering new ways of working. Where you can put your problem-solving skills to good use. You have the flexibility to change perspectives, switching from seeing the situation from a bigger picture and then at the same time going down to details. Since you're used to work in manufacturing your also know that priorities can change during the day and you have no problem changing gears if you have to during the day. While you at the same time have a good sense of structure and know how to keep deadlines
You enjoy working independently, driving your own processes, but understand your role in the team and what you're all trying to accomplish together. Communicating both with internal and externa stakeholder, as well as educating/instructing employees is nothing new for you. Instead you like to network and have a way of connecting with people so that they understand the new changes and ways of working. Since you're used to working in international environments you're no stranger to the English language or communicating to people from different parts of the world. Although, also being able to communicate in Swedish is highly merited
We believe that with the aid of your skill of working under pressure and at the same time meticulous eye for detail can help us forward to reach the next step within automotive and electronic industrialization
Level (diploma) required:
• Secondary school diploma in Mechanical/Automation/Electronic or documented comparable professional experience

Veoneer in Sweden is located in 5 different cities throughout the country, from Skellefteå in the north to Gothenburg on the west coast. Our Industrial Engineers are working together with our Production, Quality and Logistics team to develop the next generation in modern manufacturing of radar, camera and vision systems. To help and guide on our road ahead we have our important Support Functions close to us, such as HR, Finance and IT
