How you will help us
You will take large responsibility, actively drive and develop NFT Ventures Finish operation. You need to enjoy working in small teams at the same time actively find new investment opportunities and support portfolio companies in strategic, operational, technical matters etc. With your strong background in the FinTech and or E-Service industry, you use your strong set of experiences and your network to continuously increase the chances of success of our portfolio companies. In the board of our companies, you represent NFT Ventures in an appropriate and responsible way and always keep the best interests of the respective portfolio company in mind. While focusing on our portfolio companies, you actively tap into your network to find promising entrepreneurs or startups that can benefit from NFT Ventures.
A typical day for you at NFT Ventures might look like the following:
• Prepare and participate in a board meeting
• Follow-up on the board meeting, prepare promised material or make relevant connections
• Have a lunch meeting with a key contact in your network to understand recent developments in the industry
• Prepare a list of potential companies that NFT Ventures should look into
• Participate in a presentation by a company that seeks funding from NFT Ventures and discuss internally
• Attend a relevant meetup or conference to represent NFT Ventures and better understand recent developments in the industry
What we expect from you
We expect from you that you are willing to take a seat in the board of the portfolio company and understand the responsibility to represent NFT Ventures' interests. You are able to adapt to a rapidly changing market environment and do not shy away from hard decisions. With your experience in entrepreneurship, you feel connected to the entrepreneurs and startups that you support and that NFT Ventures reaches out to.
Your skill set and experience might look like the following:
• Strong background in the financial services and or E-Services sector
• Experience building and growing companies
• Passion for supporting talented and aspiring entrepreneurs
• Local presence in Helsinki with great English skills, Swedish a plus
