We are now looking for a Vehicle Performance Manager!

Description

You will lead a team of engineers responsible for different attributes of the vehicle. Within this role you will also have the responsibility to balance the requirement levels of our projects, for all attributes within the team. You will also lead the validation process during the project development phase to ensure that the attribute requirement level is met.

This role also means that you will;

• Lead the attribute requirement definition on vehicle level, support during tuning activities and requirement level balancing through the complete product development lifecycle.
• Have responsibility for the requirement definition based on market input and project boundaries, and to transform it into component level.
• Write technical specification on vehicle level, follow up and report attribute status during project progress.
• Evaluate feasibility of new proposals and products. Initiate and drive development of validation methods - Road/Lab/Math.
• Establish and maintain internal and external networks within vehicle attribute expertise. Ensure deliverables according to project plan.

You will work together with all business areas, line and projects within our Engineering department. External you will work with suppliers and customer representatives for projects. engineering service providers.

We are looking for someone who has;

• University engineering education or equivalent experience.
• Relevant engineering experience in simulation area, minimum 3 years.
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of tools for requirement setting. 
• Management experience.
• Driver license B.

You master English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

To be successful in the role, you need to;

• Genuine interest in cars.
• Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded.
• Have good Communication skills.
• Have excellent automotive industry knowledge.
• Have the ability to plan and prioritize, and distribute work.

NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
