We are now looking for a Vehicle Motion Test Coordinator!



Description

You will be part of the Vehicle Motion Simulation & Test team, which is one of four teams within the Vehicle Motion organization. The focus for Vehicle Motion is on the increasing role of software to control the vehicle's 6 degrees of freedom. Not only according to the driver's intent, but also in response of the vehicle's environment/surroundings, as well as to other systems. This includes, but is not limited to, functionalities related to Longitudinal and Lateral Motion, Energy Management, Energy Distribution, ADAS, Braking, Stability Control and Steering and you will be part of the journey to develop autonomous vehicles. All with the focus on combine an exceptional drive/ride experience with the highest levels of safety, traffic and energy efficiency as well us user convenience.

As a Vehicle Motion Test Coordinator, you will coordinate, prepare and execute software test activities within the area Vehicle Motion. You will work closely with attribute owner and component owners and test departments to define test cases and prioritize what need to be tested for our systems. Your work will mainly be to plan and coordinate the testing within the department.



The role also involves:

- Create, develop and follow up test plan for concerned projects including type of tests, resources and environments to use

- Coordinate test activities for Vehicle Motion area between different departments and teams in different locations
- Maintain and develop test strategy for Vehicle Motion Software & Controls development
- Develop test methods and test cases, including automatic test cases
- Execute test cases and write test reports & issue reports
- Follow up, document and present test results and found issues
- Support in the development of requirements on vehicle/system and component level
- Maintain and develop test environments, including environments for continuous testing with main focus on MIL & HIL test environments
- Participating in analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.

We are looking for someone who has:

- Bachelor of Science or higher degree
- Experience in the role as test leader or test coordinator for project with embedded software development
- Experience in embedded software testing, preferably in continuous testing/automated software testing
- Experience in tools like Canoe, TeamCity, SystemWeaver, CarMaker, NI TestStand, NI VeriStand, LabView Experience in open loop and closed loop HIL testing
- Experience from systems with functional safety requirements and related standards, ISO-26262
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license for vehicle

NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
