We are now looking for Vehicle Motion System Engineers developing our future Electric Vehicles!

Description

You will be part of the Vehicle Motion Systems and SW Engineering team, which is one of four teams within the Vehicle Motion organization. Our team focuses on developing SW intense safety-critical systems in the Vehicle Motion domain; this includes design of functionalities related to Longitudinal and Lateral Motion, Energy Management, Energy Distribution, ADAS, Braking, Stability Control and Steering. All with the focus on combining an exceptional drive/ride experience with the highest levels of safety, traffic and energy efficiency as well us user convenience. The goal for our development is Autonomous drive.

As a Vehicle Motion System Engineer, you will work in a team of systems engineers' in a collaborative environment. You will be part of and sometime lead a variety of systems engineering activities, including analysis of stakeholders needs, identification of functional- and non-functional requirements, hazard and risk assessment, development of functional and technical safety concepts and system design. You will be part of vehicle projects as well as research and decoupled development projects.

The role involves:

- Requirements identification
- Requirement analysis
- Use Case development and analysis
- System Design to achieve a balanced system solution that meets cost, stakeholder's needs and dependability requirements.
- Model Based System Design
- Concept selections
- Safety Analysis
- Development of functional and technical safety concepts
- Decomposition and allocation of requirements
- Documenting and presenting your development and follow up on issues, including updating our in-house best practice and guidelines.
- Participating in analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc.
- Collaboration with Simulation and Test Engineers
- Collaboration with suppliers and customers
- Collaboration with NEVS engineers at different departments and locations

We are looking for someone who has:

- Bachelor of Science or higher degree
- Experience in model-based systems engineering
- Experience of develop safety critical systems
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license for vehicle
