Vehicle Logistics Manager
As Vehicle Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and managing a world class vehicles distribution operation, following the distribution after production to delivery to the markets. This includes developing and implementing global logistic strategies, processes, policies and routines, as well as implementing the network and monitoring logistic KPI's and drive improvements to assure competitiveness. This position reports directly to the Director Logistic Operations, Lynk & Co International.

The position is based in Gothenburg, with a European responsibility; therefore, some travel will be required.

What you'll do

• Develop strategic direction for Vehicle Logistics operations in Europe
• Manage the Vehicle Logistics team
• Analyze suppliers and contracts requirement for sourcing of logistic services
• Develop and manage key processes from import, transportation to delivery to end point
• Manage the logistic pipeline based on regional requirements and prioritization
• Develop and manage supporting vehicle Logistics systems
• Continuously improve and implement cost efficient distribution solutions

What you should have

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics or MBA within logistics
• At least 7 years of experience within logistics and/or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry
• Experience from geographically diverse cross functional collaboration
• Proven ability of positive influence on logistics operations and planning
• Proven ability in project management with ability to handle several projects concurrently
• Driven problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities
• Excellent communication skills
