The group Vehicle Concept Development is part of the business unit Strategy & Vehicle Concepts which has the overall responsibility to develop robust and feasible vehicle concepts from advanced engineering (AE) to Final Data Judgment . Our group responsibility is to lead the mechanical integration work across all units, such as Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing and Attributes. We work with a holistic perspective over the complete car, and we are a group of 14 car enthusiasts with a big interest in technology.
As Vehicle Concept Engineer you will lead the concept integration work in the early phases. This is an important and central role in the product development process. In this role you will be responsible for delivering Architecture studies and Pre Program Concepts on vehicle level. This is a senior position where you will get the chance to develop your skill-set and be an important part of the vehicle integration process.
Main responsibilities
• Lead the mechanical integration work in Annual and Pre Program phase
• Deliver Architecture and Advanced Engineering studies on vehicle level
• Deliver robust and cross functional agreed CATIA 3D data for Program Start
• Deliver Technical Input to Product Design & Engineering
• Lead Vehicle Integration Meetings
Required qualifications
• University degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Extensive experience CATIA V5
• CAD Visualization (TeamCenter or eqvivalent)
• Creative problem solving approach
• MS Office
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Minimum 6 years Automotive experience in Pre Program concept phase
