Position Description:
In our team, the Vehicle Analysis group, within Vehicle Concepts, Analysis & AE department we develop, secure, and verify complete vehicle performance in the areas of durability, ride comfort, handling and vehicle motion performance by use of complete vehicle simulations.
Furthermore, we provide methods and tools for our areas of expertise. We have close co-operation with the engineering and test departments, and perform work for all Volvo GTT development sites.
We need now to reinforce our team with one Vehicle Analyst - Structural dynamics
Task and Responsibilities:
You will work with an experienced team of experts and in close cooperation with the engineering and test departments of chassis, cab and powertrain.
As a Vehicle Analyst in this position you will by complete vehicle analysis develop, secure and verify vehicle performance in the area of durability, ride comfort and handling.
In vehicle projects verify performance targets and provide load data for dimensioning of system/modules
Support development of performance targets
Develop analysis methods

Requirements:
You are experienced in Structural analysis and are interested in analysis of complete vehicle performance.
MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering with an orientation towards analysis
Experience in structural analysis and related methods and tools
Experience in signal processing
Experience in product data management systems
Main tools used are Nastran, ANSA, Matlab and to some extent ADAMS
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
