Business Division Renewables is responsible for wind power and biomass. Investments in wind power is an important cornerstone to deliver our road map and we plan, build and own wind farms in six countries, onshore and offshore. Investment in biomass fuel is key to further reduce the emissions; our division have about 300 employees. We are now looking to recruit a Development Manager who will focus on identifying and managing the development of (new) onshore wind farm projects - from the very first start as a possibility all the way to the position of consent. As Development Manager your tasks will include - but are not limited to: + Finding new areas for onshore wind farms+ Maintaining good relationships with prospective land-owners and site providers+ Preparation, presentation and negotiation of financial terms with land-owners and site providers+ Contact with authorities, dealing with permit processes+ Preparation of development budgeting and monitoring+ Coordinating all external and internal reports (for example create shadow and noise; wind study reports+ Managing the public consultation process. Your qualificationsYou have an academic degree (Bachelor or Master) in industrial engineering or another comparable education. You must possess strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage and meet challenging deadlines and prioritize tasks. To be successful you need experience from managing large-scale (preferably global) development/construction projects with a track-record of successfully seeing projects through to planning consent. This job requires experience from working with authorities and that you understand rules and regulations in accordance with development plans. You must have experience of producing, agreeing and managing programmed- and project budgets, excellent English communications skills (verbal, active listening, written), and a good understanding of the technical aspects of wind power project development including site design and layout optimization, road haulage access, grid integration, noise issues, climate factors and shadow flicker. You will be located in Luleå. Travelling will be a part of this job; a driver's license is a must.
