You will be employed by Bravura and work as a consultant for our client. Bravura is one of the fastest growing recruitment and staffing companies in Sweden. Our long term goal is to continue our expansive growth while maintaining profitability. Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Sundsvall. There are plans to start another office in central Sweden in the fall. Our offices employs about 100 employees. The majority of our employees, approximately 500 consultants, work with our business customers.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
As a VAT Controller you provide day-to-day compliance work and basic VAT technical support to the business. You are part of the VAT & Tax Compliance team and report to the VAT Compliance Manager.
You are responsible for statutory VAT and statistical reporting in an allocated range of countries within EMEA. This involves:
• Understanding the reporting requirements, formats and deadlines in each allocated jurisdiction and working consistently to meet these
• Based upon corporate procedures, extracting data from business system (SAP), manipulating it to produce the necessary VAT reporting data and submitting the data to quality control checks
• Booking appropriate VAT nettings, clearing documents and write-offs of non-deductible VAT in SAP
• Liaising and building relationships with external VAT compliance providers
• Ongoing critical appraisal of the compliance process and implementation of new controls or procedures under the supervision of the VAT Compliance Manager
• Ongoing updating of procedure manuals under the supervision of the VAT Compliance Manager
• Responding effectively to VAT audits and inquiries and preparing voluntary disclosures and appeals as necessary
• Answering basic VAT questions pertaining to the allocated countries.

Kvalifikationer
• Have experience of working with SAP and SAP R/3
• Have a good knowledge of accounting in general
• Have VAT compliance experience (ideally 1-2 years)
• Ideally have 3-5 years' work experience.

You also have a good working knowledge of written and spoken English,
a proactive mindset, an excellent communication skill and ability to build relationships, both internally and externally, analytical skills, a service focus and a sense of urgency in supporting our internal customers, and you are open to change and new ways of working.
