As our Manager for the Valve Development department you will be responsible for processes, tools and resource allocation related to valve development. As one of your most important tasks you will lead and develop the individuals in the team in order to help them to reach their full potential. The team work environment will also be a part of your responsibility.
As a manager at Technology and Solutions Development, working with cutting edge technology, you will need to address many kinds of technical challenges and lead a group of technically skilled engineers.
You hold a Master of Science, in Power Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering or similar. Work experience from management/leadership and from similar industries is preferable. As you will be part of a company that operates on the global arena, you must be proficient in English. Swedish language is qualifying.
It will be a part of your daily job to communicate with other departments, team members and projects leaders. It is therefore important that you are open-minded and straightforward in your communication. Finally, you are a natural leader who is able to adopt to changes and provide structure and clarity in challenging situations.
You will be part of Technology and Solutions Development, within the Power Grids division, in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used, among other things, to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems.
