Provide leadership, management and direction to your department. Lead and coach the value stream by insuring that the area of responsibility is scheduled with proper manpower, tools and training. Safety, quality, delivery and continues improvement should be the driving factors and culture that is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing a department of White and Blue collar workers
• Overall responsibility for value stream performance - Safety, Quality and Delivery
• Encourage "Think Safe" efforts and support this culture.
• Develop a culture that embraces diversity and promotes the best in individual and team excellence.
• Regularly assess and provide feedback regarding performance to employees.
• Develop the skills and competencies of the team to support personal and business objectives.
• Supervise direct reports and keep them accountable for goals and objectives.
• Mentor the team to drive decisions and responsibilities.
• Lead and coach the team in the areas of Lean Production with focus on continuous improvement and employee involvement.
• Create and be responsible for the department budget.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills
We are looking for a target-oriented person with a strong drive to deliver and constantly develop and improve the organization. You are a leader with an interest and ability to lead and develop your employees. The position requires an outgoing personality with collaboration skills as well as ability to work independently. Strong customer focus and good communication skills are essential, also the ability of networking and creating trusting relationships.
You have a technical education at an academic level or extensive experience from working within production and quality management. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both in writing and speaking. Prior experience from management and/or Lean is an advantage.
