Background
Alfa Laval is currently on a Digital transformation journey. As part of this transformation, we have created an organization with the purpose to own and upgrade our digital product lifecycle management (PLM), Configuration and Order flow (COF) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) capabilities. It is an organization of about 140 people, and we call it the Trinity Value Stream.
Trinity is an organization where Business and IT work hand in hand supporting Alfa Laval 's Business Units in building Reliable Product Information, connecting Products, Factories and Customers.
We are applying the scaled agile framework (SAFe) to structure our deliveries. Within the SCM domain, we are responsible for the development and maintenance of our Manufacturing ERP solutions (both new and legacy systems), the roll out of our target Microsoft D365 solution and the support of live sites.
We are now recruiting both a Value Stream Business Manager and a Value Stream IT Manager, each heading a team with individuals that will work closely together to deliver on our commitments. .
About the job
In your role as Value Stream IT Manager - Supply Chain Management mERP, will lead and manage the activities relating to the department in accordance with Alfa Laval values, culture and leadership competencies.
Together with your team and the Value Stream Business Manager and his/her team, you are responsible for Alfa Laval manufacturing ERP (mERP) solutions both for new and the legacy mERP systems.
Your will be leading a team of approximately 20 people, based in Lund, Krakow and Denmark. You will also be managing key suppliers and contractors.
You are responsible for development and operations of the manufacturing ERP systems and surrounding ecosystems. Target platform is Microsoft D365. Today we have a multitude of legacy systems, including Jeeves. Your team responsibilities include system design, configuration, development, operations & support as well as vendor management.
Your team members will be working in X-functional scrum teams across business and IT.
You will be part of the Value Stream management team and report to the Head of Value Stream IT. The position is based in Lund, Sweden.
Key responsibilities
* Lead, coach, manage, develop and recruit people and teams within the area of responsibility, supporting them to reach their highest potential with focus on agile, customer- and service-oriented behaviours.
* Lead the change: demonstrate the values, mindset, and principles of Lean-Agile Leadership.
* Assure the SAFe/Agile structure and mechanisms are implemented and secure program execution.
* Manage up and across the value stream: eliminate impediments and relentlessly improve operations and flow.
* Communicate with stakeholders in line with overall decided structure, templates, engagement- and governance models.
* Service delivery, financial management, supplier management, system ownership and TCO for the area.
* Member of Value Stream Management team.
What you know
You bring solid leadership experience from ERP system development, management and/or roll-outs in a global context.
* Degree of Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent
* Leadership experience in large corporations
* Industry experience
* Agile methods and tools
