hela Sverige Would you like to work close to production and play an active role in developing our manufacturing processes? We are now looking for a Value Stream Engineer with a strong interest in productivity, quality and continuous improvement.
About the role
As a Value Stream Engineer you will work closely with our production organization and act as an important link between Production and Process Development.
Your focus will be to develop and optimize production processes by analyzing performance, identifying improvement opportunities and driving activities that contribute to increased efficiency, quality and process stability.
You will work in a hands-on production environment and collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance and other functions within the organization.
Main responsibilities
Drive continuous improvement initiatives with focus on productivity, quality, cost efficiency and process stability.
Monitor, analyze and improve key production KPIs, including OEE, Cycle Time, scrap and tooling costs.
Develop and maintain FMEA, Control Plans, work instructions and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
Drive and participate in APQP, FMEA and technical project activities, including new products and processes.
Identify root causes and improvement opportunities through data analysis and structured problem-solving methods such as 4M.
Support production teams in processes, tooling and LEAN methodologies.
Lead and participate in improvement meetings and cross-functional activities.
Visualize and communicate performance, progress and improvement activities within the responsible production area.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest and a passion for production and continuous improvement. You have an analytical and structured approach and are able to turn data and identified challenges into practical and sustainable improvements.
You enjoy working close to production and collaborating across different functions. You are comfortable taking ownership, driving activities forward and following them through to measurable results.
We would like you to have:
Relevant technical education or equivalent experience from manufacturing.
Experience in production/process engineering and continuous improvement.
Knowledge of LEAN, FMEA, Control Plans, VSM and production KPIs such as OEE and Cycle Time.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive improvement activities.
Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
Experience with APQP and from the automotive industry or another manufacturing environment with high quality requirements is considered an advantage.
