hela Sverige We are looking for a new Value Chain Manager to our unit in Alingsås. In this position you will lead a team of 14 coworkers with responsibility for material planning, replenishment strategy development, in-house logistics, inventory management and master planning.
Your main task will be to lead, coach and motivate your team to continuously improve your department and performance. You have the day to day responsibility of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), budget, personnel and the overarching responsibility for inventory and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
Our most important areas of development in the role are to improve Requested On Time Delivery (ROTD) to our customers, lead time to customer, delivery performance to ABB sales companies, inventory management, as well as the development of our IBP process. We are constantly developing our processes, and as a Value Chain Manager, it is important that you have ability and the interest to drive forward. This is done in close cooperation with your team, but also with other departments such as Quality, Product Development, R&D, Production and Strategic Sourcing.
You are part of the Electrification Products Management team in Alingsås and report to Local Product Group Manager.
You hold a University degree in Engineering or Economics, combined with solid leadership experience from a management role in Production or Logistics. Merit is if you have experience in Lean Manufacturing.
As you will be working in a global environment, you are fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken alike.
On a personal level, you are a consistent leader with strong communicative skills. You enjoy leading and developing employees, while at the same time collaborating with others in order to achieve stretched targets.
Our ABB unit Switches & Fusegear in Alingsås is a part of the Electrification Products Division and the Protection and Connection Business Unit. We develop, produce and sell a complete range of Low Voltage Switches, Fusegear and Cable Distribution Cabinets in the Nordic countries and the Baltics. We are approximately 100 employees supporting and developing current market with the target to strengthen our position and expand our geographical reach to new markets.
