Managing team of engineers and PhDs responsible of developing advanced lithium-ion battery cells for Energy Storage, Electric Vehicles and other applications
Leading the practical validation & analysis work with Lithium ion battery, especially for safety and environmental testings.
Support team members in analyzing test data to improve battery properties and/or managements system.
Plan, organize, direct and follow up on project related validation activities.
Ensure delivery of the project activities with regards to validation requirements.
Facilitate communication and clarification of technical requirements between customers and Northvolt's internal stakeholders.
Installation and Commissioning of Validation equipment
Budget responsibility:
Direct reports: 5-10
Team management and operational development
Test procedure ownership and development.
Generation of validation results and supplying analyzed data for higher maturity of cell design
Accountable of the data availability and on time delivery according to internal and customer requirements.
Communication with customer regarding data analysis
Qualifications/education/experience
MSc or PhD degree within relevant field or comparable work experience.
More than 6 years experience from development and testing of secondary batteries, lithium-ion based technologies
Experience of leading a high-profile team in an international environment
Excellent communication skills as you will be in constant interaction with internal and international customers and team members from both the technical and business development side.
Recognize and manage the risk of cell/battery development and production.
Experience from cell design and development of Lithium-ion cells is a must.
Specific skills (eg specific programmes, languages, certifications etc.)
Strong organization skills and used to manage a range of activities simultaneously
Working experience with OEM project for Lithium-ion battery cell/module business
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
Ability to work under high pressure with tight deadlines
Excellent English written and oral skills
