Kongsberg Automotive AB in Mullsjö is part of the Kongsberg Automotive group. The product development within Kongsberg Automotive is subject to global competition, with high demands on our performance. As a Test Engineer you will be part of a growing R&D department of approximately 130 engineers located in Mullsjö, Sweden. Our objective is to be in the global frontline of our product ranges. Having global customers and suppliers means a great deal of international contacts. The Driveline Systems Division also has Test Centers in Wuxi (China) and Novi (USA).

The Mullsjö Test Center is the biggest in the company and has become an even more important part of our global R&D organization. We now need to build and strengthen our organization to be able to meet the increase in requests and demands the within test and verification area.
Job profile
As a Validation Engineer you are responsible for the planning, execution and reporting of the testing needed for our projects. We see the need of senior engineers with the bigger role to improve the labs capability in the power electronic environmental testing. We also have room for one hungry junior engineer (M.Sc.) with a strong interest in power electronics to grow with us. Skills like planning and resource management is desired to be able to meet the various demands. You should also have practical skills and technical understanding.
We perform testing in the fields of mechanics, electronics and material properties.
Testing is performed with technical analysis, validation of customer requirements and verification of new concepts with high demands for development of methods.
Candidate profile
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in engineering.
• Experienced in working in projects.
• Experience of statistical and accelerated methods for example Design of Experiments (DoE) and HALT/QALT is desired.
• Solid theoretical knowledge in FEM, mechanics and or electromechanics and applied skills in technology.
• Able to work in a structured and independent way taking full responsibility of method development to secure and create technical advancement.
• Team player with a strong drive and a positive attitude.
• Solution and result driven approach and a positive attitude.
• Committed, self starting, taking responsibility, high focus and interest to improve the day-to-day work.
• Good knowledge of English is required and of Swedish is preferred. Knowledge of other languages such as German, French, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean is also valued.
