Your Role
As a Validation Engineer, you will focus on performing tests and verifications in customers' test environments and prototype vehicles.
Main responsibilities can include the following tasks:

Sensor Performance Verification, HIL & SIL Testing

Sensor Calibration and SW Deployment
-
Use customer-developed test methods, automation scripts and diagnostic tools such as DSA.

Fault trace using industry-standard equipment including Wireshark and Vector CANoe.

Document and report issues found in Jira.
-
Create a weekly progress and status report of implementation status.
-
Update test methods and test scripts.
-
The focus will be on Active safety function nodes in many different aspects.

Develop test cases (both manual and automated) and test scripts
Your Profile
We are now looking for a communicative individual who has excellent skills in co-operation, teamwork, and networking.
To be successful in this role, we are happy to see that you have:

3+ years of automotive background
-
Drivers License B is a must
-
Good knowledge of in-vehicle electrical systems in general.

Good knowledge in one or several communication protocols or other relevant concept areas
-
Complex logs analyzing including automated verdict setting based on logs.

Sensor Calibration Expertise
-
Computer Vision and System Safety
-
Agile Scrum Framework, Agile development process
-
Leading V&V Activities
-
Volvo Cars SW-handling process
-
Experience from Volvo Cars SPA Platform or CEVT CMA platform is an advantage.

General experience in testing
-
Swedish Language (good to have)
Tech stack:
Strong Python development skills (Must have), CANoe/CANALyzer, Matlab
