About the position:
The Delivery Service team at UIQ Technology is the driving force behind the successful integration of the UIQ software product and the mobile phone manufacturer product. We are currently in an
exciting period of growth, and we are looking for skilled engineers to strengthen our team. The Delivery Services team is responsible for the integration and validation of the UIQ components in ours
customers' software baseline, according to their requirements before delivery.
We are now looking for a Validation Engineer who will work with validating the UIQ product in the Customer environment. The testing is mainly done with automated regression tests, manual tests and
stability tests, with the purpose of verifying the integration of the UIQ components in customer's software baseline.
Work in this role will include test and QA activities such as developing test specifications, reviewing specifications, reviewing requirements, setting up the test environment (both hardware and
software), developing automated test scripts, executing manual and automated system tests and handling defects.
You will be part of a highly motivated team working closely with the customers and an aim to shorten the time-to-market for UIQ product projects.
Qualifications and experience:
• Good computer skills, especially in a Windows environment,
• Scripting experience is valuable
• Work experience of test and verification,
• Successfully delivered testing in development projects,
• Good communication skills, both in verbal and written English.
