About the role
As a UX writer you will be responsible for writing all source texts for our consumer applications, used by hundreds of thousands of users on a daily basis. You'll write texts for device manuals, pop-ups, buttons and much more. You will be working in English and be a central part of our content creation globally. As our new UX writer you will also act as a project manager for various content projects concerning our consumer applications, along with coordinating, training and guiding translators across Verisure as well as driving processes for text localization.
You will be part of the Text Localization team and collaborate daily with Scum Masters, Product Owners and Designers to name a few. The content will vary from a word to sentences. The challenge is often to capture a message in as few words as possible, creating clear, consistent and concrete content.
The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a cutting-edge UI where you will create a great mix of new content as well as maintaining previously developed content. Your contribution should lead to a great user experience for our end customers.
You will run the content production and have daily contact with translators and different stakeholders across the globe. We are constantly expanding to new markets and countries, giving you the possibility to drive collaborations to translate and adapt existing content to new markets.
Who are you?/What you bring
You are a team player with excellent communications skills and have a passion for writing. We think you easily translate and transform advanced information or content into something user-friendly and accessible for all audiences. You can ensure a clear and consistent message that translates well across different geographies. On top of that you enjoy the art of composing a message with a restrained amount of space.
We ask for you to have:
* good communication skills, both written and verbally
* interest in understanding UX, design and the technical underpinnings of products.
Moreover, it is meritorious if you have some previous experience working in an international environment with several cultures. If you understand modern digital interfaces and are a frequent user of apps in your daily life, it's a huge plus. In addition, we think it is an advantage with experience of project management.
If possible, we would highly appreciate samples on your previous work, it could be anything from a blog to a portfolio. It is meriting if you have worked with digital interfaces previously.
