The User Experience Design Chapter in Digital Delivery collaborates with other parts of the organization, to foster an environment where ideas, thoughts and opinions can be shared. We are team players with common ambitions, and we win together by uncovering user needs through collected data and inputs to improve the usability of products and services across the Volvo Group. Our UX Design Chapter team are tasked with securing consistent user experience, interaction and visual treatment of elements and components across products and services, considering a cohesive holistic experience.
This is how you could make an impact
As the UX Strategy Lead, you will be a part of the UX Design Chapter leadership team and report to the Head of UX Design Chapter in Digital Delivery. You will manage a growing team of UX Strategy specialists, you will recruit and facilitate for competence development, while you stay a role-modelling practioner. You will collaborate with your peers in UX Research and UX Creation to support the strategic initiatives product development within and across different Digital Delivery Areas.
Your responsibilities will include:
Support effective recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
Establish and nurture a community of practioners, foster knowledge sharing within UX Strategy and drive competence development across and beyond the UX Design Chapter.
Develop and establish working methods and best practices for UX Strategy.
Take an outside in perspective and secure best practice sharing also across the larger Design community at Volvo Group.
Manage capacity planning and new requests for Strategy Design, Service Design, System Design, Business Design and Experience Design etc.
Identify and actively work to remove barriers to ensure successful outcome.
Illustrate how UX makes a difference and influence for positive impact.
Who are you?
You are an experienced strategy & service designer and a people manager, who wants to leverage own experience in benefit of others, yet you want to continue to grow and bring business value. You have prior experience with large organization, and you have led complex strategic projects. You are a system thinker, and you understand what it entails to work in a matrix organization. You are a sounding board to your team members, as well as an active contributor to stakeholder's product visions, strategy, and delivery to realize business value.
