We are looking for two UX strategists that will take on the challenge to drive the development of the UX area within Group IT.
Volvo Group IT drives the UX work in internal IT applications in the Volvo Group and work together with our brands in external/ brand strategic IT applications.
As a strategist you work together with our business entities/ solution centers to help them understand how their digital solutions should be designed to create real value for both business and users.

As a strategist, we expect you to have experience in Business Impact mapping, to connect Business goals to user behaviors. You have previously helped different customers to describe their user needs in a way that has led to tangible results by using terms such as target-groups, behaviors and personas.
You will act as an advisor to our internal customers and secure that the development process develops with focus on business and user satisfaction. You have the necessary knowledge to help the IT operations and steering committees to reach decisions. This means that you need to quickly understand the decision process in any given circumstance.
As a strategist you are expected to:
Be updated with trends and best practices in the UX area
Set challenging but reachable targets together with the customers
Build knowledge in the Volvo Group IT community on what gains can be reached by working in a design oriented way
We also expect you to support the internal UX organization to Inspire, train and coach colleagues.
Overall requirements:
Valid work-permit for applied country, if not a citizen
Excellent spoken and written English (additional languages are given merit)
