This is an exciting role, in which you will be part of a diverse and highly effective team, contributing to the overall growth of a market leader in medical devices. You will be instrumental in leading innovation in a user-centric perspective, making sure we solve for true needs and bring real value to our customers.
As our UX Manager, you will lead the front-end innovation team making sure we do the right things through discovery and exploration stages as well as maturing ideas and technologies. You will lead the insights work and guide our design teams through ideation and concept development, making sure that true needs are implemented as design objectives and thereby play a central role in scoping innovation opportunities.
Our innovation process is built on design thinking principles and we have a clear focus on making sure we define pain relievers and gain creators based on the customer insights and observations on what works and what's not. In this role, you have the opportunity to continuously improve how we do things and provide the means and toolbox to help the team accelerate value creation.
You will work in close collaboration with our product owners and product managers in translating user needs into features making sure that we address each challenge starting with user desire. In this position, you will report directly to the Vice President R&D.

• Head of front-end innovation team
• Acting project manager through ideation and concept development
• Gatekeeper of user needs and user experience deliveries
• Core member in innovation projects
• Industrial design assuring implementation of our design DNA
Your experience
We believe that you have a background in industrial design and that you are very well acquainted with design thinking and more than 5 years' experience in relevant roles. It is beneficial if you have experience in agile working methods and that you are capable of making the call on what method for execution is best suited for succeeding with the solution.

• Excellent communication and fluent in English and Swedish
• Excellent in sketch work, illustration and conceptual design
• Excellent in the application of design thinking principles in an agile environment
• Strong networking and collaboration within and across organizations
