We're looking for a strong interaction designer who can speak the product. You will focus on evolving and inventing new features as a part of the team that creates service, software and hardware solutions for the workplace. This position starts as soon as possible until 9 months with a great possibility of extension.
About the role As a UX designer on the Meeting Solutions team, you will be passionate about how people collaborate and create together.
The designer will work side by side with the PM and ENG team and designers across Kirkland, New York, and Stockholm.
Need to build good collaborative relationships within their team and across disciplines.
Communicating the user experience at various stages of the design process by using wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and/or high-fidelity prototypes
Gauging the usability of new and existing products , and making constructive suggestions for change
Advocating design excellence by focusing on user needs and design consistency
Required qualification BA degree with 4 years of relevant work experience
A high degree of craft
A proactive and intentional creator
RBA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS) or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
High-quality industry experience as Interaction designer
Able to tackle a complex and novel design space with a broad scope.
Strong system design thinking to create new patterns that solve how people collaborate in real time.
Familiarity with user research methods or experience working closely with researchers.
Strong prototyping skills are a plus
Nice to have Real-Time Communication (RTC) product experience
