Panthera is a division of Permobil that develops and manufactures innovative wheelchairs for people with disabilities. We are looking for a Development Engineer to join our team in spånga, Sweden, and help us deliver our business plan and support our growth journey.
Are you a skilled and motivated mechanical engineer with a flair for creating innovative solutions? Do you have experience with Solidworks, CAD, and other engineering tools? If you answered yes to these questions, then you might be the perfect candidate for the Development Engineer position! This is a temporary position because of parental leave.
Key Tasks
You will design, develop, and construct products using Solidworks and other software. You will be responsible for the project's entire lifecycle, from conceptualisation to testing and implementation. You will also collaborate with other engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure the quality and functionality of the final product.
• Perform design work and develop prototypes in new product development and sustain of current assortment
• Coordinate testing and testing of new products
• Coordinate the start of production of new products
• Participate and lead project work

Your Background
A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
Proficiency in CAD, 3D modelling, and simulation tools
Knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and best practices
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
You must have a basic knowledge level in Swedish and be fluent in English
Meritorious is if you have following (one or more):
Experience from Med-tech, at least 2 years experience from similar role and preferably of Solidworks.
