Our mission is to pioneer women's health with research and passion - by empowering everyone with a menstrual cycle with the knowledge they need to be in charge of their health.
We're looking for a passionate, self-starting User Researcher to drive qualitative research projects and champion the voices of our users. You'll work across our marketing and product teams, contributing to our understanding of our users and their impact on our business.
By joining our team, you'll get the opportunity to collaborate on a variety of projects with a team of top product designers, product managers and marketers in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You'll work on big, strategic research projects as well as shorter usability studies where you'll get to see the impact of your work right away.
What you'll do:
• Identify and prioritize research studies
• Design studies and develop hypotheses examining users' behaviors, needs, and attitudes
• Use a wide variety of mixed research methods: qualitative and quantitative methods
• Document and track learnings gathered through testing and research so insights can easily be referenced and applied for future projects
• Synthesize and communicate research results to different audiences at Natural Cycles to help magnify the impact of the findings
• Craft findings deliverables to share insights, provide recommendations, and convey the user's perspective to teams across Natural Cycles
Who you'll work with:
• Collaborate with Product Designers and Product Managers to usability test our app, website, and hardware devices
• Collaborate with our marketing team to help us better understand our potential customers
• Collaborate with other functions across the company (ex. Data Science, Regulatory, Customer Support) to inform your work
Your experience:
• You have a strong working knowledge of user research methods, including when and how to apply different methods across both marketing and product contexts
• You are comfortable planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing and communicating research, independently and as part of a team
• You are familiar with quantitative research methods, comfortable with metrics and A/B tests, and are able to synthesize quantitative data with qualitative user research
• You are a strong communicator and are passionate about bringing customer voices into working processes across our company
• You are interested in working in a fast-paced start-up environment, helping us grow our business and develop our products
Your qualifications:
• You have at least 3 years of work experience in a similar role
• You have a background in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Data Science or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience\
• You have a portfolio or can demonstrate your experience with a work sample
